In cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology UMSICHT, the volume of resources saved as a result of the recycling activities carried out by the Ströher Group is documented each year. The measurement assesses savings relating to both primary resources and greenhouse gases. In 2016, reusable materials were recycled from various material flows. The recycling of these material flows are calculated to have saved 1,000 tonnes of resources and 100 tonnes of greenhouse gases. The Ströher Group will continue to focus on sustainable business and the responsible use of resources in the future. It will therefore continue to pursue its ultimate goal of a future without waste, based on intelligent recycling.
