At the ceremony, Gerhard Albert emphasised the great importance of long-standing, loyal employees. "No company can be successful in the market for a long period if it does not have well-trained, dedicated and capable employees," said the Chair of the Ströher Management Board. "Over the course of the many years and decades during which we have jointly driven the company forward and pursued developments, a relationship has of course formed," said Albert. "Many of you have spent a considerable part of your life here in the company – so it is not surprising that we often talk of the 'Ströher family'". Looking at the dramatic changes in the world of work, Albert said that loyalty and dedication to a single company should still be highly valued today.
After honouring each person's length of service, Gerhard Albert and Joint Managing Director Patrick Schneider presented the bonuses and gift baskets to the deserving employees. Angelika Schäfer, Rolf Friedrich, Monika Albano and Andrea Klaas were thanked for their 40 years of loyalty to the company. Silke Rudolph, Caroline Jung and Klaus-Dieter Greeb have worked at Ströher for 25 years, while Angelina Hof, Andreas Manweiler, Joachim Klein, Raphael Schneidewind and Alexander Stotz have been part of the Ströher Group for ten years.
And the progression from being a niche manufacturer of outdoor ceramics to becoming an international full-service provider, as the Ströher ceramics group, has indeed been very exciting. This requires employees in all areas who are familiar with the processes of a know-how-intensive company down to the last detail. As, ultimately, technical expertise and experience determine the quality of the ceramics. The Ströher Group is today regarded as one of the top German providers of high-quality clinker bricks and ceramics and caters for the areas of floor, wall and facade ceramics for indoor and outdoor use.
