Special times require special measures. So this year's honouring of the jubilarians took place at the Dillenburg ceramics producer Ströher under "Covid-19 conditions" - with a mask, fresh air and keeping a distance. "Even if events in general or major gatherings of our industry - such as the BAU Trade Fair in Munich - cannot take place at the moment, we hold on to traditional business celebrations," said General Manager Dirk Hümmer at the small celebration. "For decades, you have all made an important contribution to our joint corporate success," said Hümmer, who, together with his Co-Manager Patrick Schneider, Oliver Schweitzer, Head of Human Resources, and Christine Thomas, Chairperson of the Works Council, thanked this year's jubilarian workforce members for their commitment and loyalty to the company. "We have grown together as the Ströher family over the years and past decades and will also master the current situation with its new challenges together," said Co-Manager Patrick Schneider, expressing his optimism and gratitude for their support.
After the management had emphasised the merits of each individual jubilarian in their celebration speeches, bonuses and gift baskets were presented to the deserving employees workforce members. Frank Stamm was honoured for 40 years of loyalty to the Company. Avdullah Hyseni, Franz Nietsch, Gabriele Suchan, Jan Zöllner, Markus Wieden and Yasemin Kuloglu have been involved with Ströher for 25 years now, while Jessica Kudla, Kai Kunstfeld, Marcel Bauk, Mario Siegel, Mevlüt Yücekök, Nikolai Welker, Vitali Shigailow and Volker Hermann have been part of the "Ströher family" for ten years.
The sharp increase in COVID-19 infections, after a downward trend during the summer, has again made it necessary to take measures that affect large areas of our economic and social life. The Ströher Group takes the current development very seriously. In order to ensure smooth business and operational procedures, a wide range of measures were already initiated in spring and adapted to the pandemic development. At the heart of all actions is a comprehensive duty of care towards the employees workforce members. Hygiene regulations are strictly observed at Ströher and the rules of caution and conduct are strictly applied in personal contact.
